It was written between Jay’s home studio in Buckinghamshire, Hook Manor Studios in Oxfordshire and Thailand. Some previews have already highlighted the album showcases a different side to Jay’s voice, which is slightly more laidback. Rock Dust Light Star features the single "Blue Skies", a Take That-esque uplifting pop song.
