Comes packaged in a deluxe 7 x7" box.

The actual music in this box set is varied, yet gels together well, it's ambient psyche in places, a hint of mellow kraut rock, indie space rock, it's hard to put a description to the box as a whole...it's vibe from start to finish is hypnotic, edgy... The title of this set is not entirely spot on but not far off too, it's not your usual garage psyche, even though a few are on here, Chocolate Watch Band, The Litter, Iron Butterfly...they sit well with some of the more recent groups, and the 1970s material too. If you are a Psychedelic purist and just want Nuggets style then this isn't for you, if you have the intelligence and adventure in your heart to explore, experience and enjoy new discoveries then it's a enjoyable ride.
